Welcome to the upmarket exclusive club away from the great unwashed .You too can become a member as long as you work hard with the product placement.Those who will benefit most of course will be the wizards at the top of the echalon ,those who call all the shots.Vow of poverty anyone?

  2 years ago i left jws.

  i went to a baptist church because it was what my husband was.

  i knew i wanted to go to church but which one i really didn't know yet.. two years later, i think i have made up my mind: presbyterian.. anyone have anything they want to share?

  HI renee,

  You should find a big difference for one thing you will be with normal people ,well when I say normal you will meet the odd eccentric but they will be human unlike the JWs'.The congregation will be full of people for the most part who are there with a loving caring attitude.Of course there will be cliques and a bit of rivalry sometimes the same as you get in all walks of life but the act of coming together to worship in a church as apposed to a meeting in a sales enviroment will be uplifting.You should enjoy the fellowship and not take things too seriously . The way children are treated is totally different to the Jdubs way of doing things,the mainstream churches involve the children in a way that will make them interested in the being there you also get to say things like Happy Christmas, and have a lovely Easter and Peace be with you.

  And by the way taking communion will be something you will want to do regulary once you progress within the church,Don't be put off if anything seems a bit strange or if someone seems a bit off hand, give it time and you will feel the spiritual benefit.They have great hymns to sing as well and a very important part of it all is that you will make a lot of new friends,and I mean real friends not at all like the ones at the KH.

  At fourteen the boy was not old enough or wise enough to decide.The judge was wrong his guardian was wrong and most of all that excuse for Christianity is wrong with its twisted doctrine.

  At least the boy is no longer suffering and hopefully there is a justice higher than mans justice.

  i have been a pretty serious practical joker my whole life....some say i am stuck in adolescence (i hope she is 17).

  but anyway, right before halloween i took a couple of pumpkins too close to the road at a farmers place and put them in the kingdom hall front yard....i know i should have paid for them but no one was there.

  it was sunday night, and was hoping maybe no one would notice till thursday meeting, but they were gone on wednesday.

  I love this sense of humour it reminds me of the saying " I love being crazy it stops me from going mad"

  First off the KH is not a place of worship by any stretch of the imagination, a sales meeting room yes, an indoctrination centre yes, a meeting room for bigots yes.They should have a closed sign on the door " minds closed"

  Another idea would be to find out the date of birth of a frequenter to the sales hall and string a banner across the entrance with their name on it " HAPPY BIRTHDAY congratulations on reaching the big 40 " or whatever their age maybe.

  I do not think anybody who knows the truth about the Witless cult can find anything in it to respect .They have never earned any respect in over a hundred years.

  Do You Realize That Satan Is Supposed To Be Almost As Powerful As Jehovah?

  my mom was telling me that we have to be especially on guard during these last days because satan the devil is setting his sights upon anyone he thinks he can get.

  i mentioned to my mother that jws give too much credit to the devil.

  i explained satan is supposed to be a single angel gone bad.

  The so called annointed have proven to be false prophets which means they could not be of the annointed in the first place.Which means that this generation will need more new light and a generator will have to be brought into use as soon as possible .The gathering of the annointed will have to be re scheduled starting from this very day .Now does anybody here feel a stirring within that is telling them something?
